Upcoming pool maintenance at the MARC

As part of our scheduled maintenance program, the MARC will be undertaking planned pool maintenance during August and September to help keep our facilities safe, reliable and operating at their best.

The works involve repairs to key pool infrastructure and form part of our ongoing maintenance program. These planned works help support the long-term operation and reliability of our facilities.

The following temporary closures will apply:

Outdoor 50m Pool

Closed: Friday, 28 August to Monday, 31 August 2026
Reopens: Tuesday, 1 September 2026

Indoor 25m Pool

Closed: Friday, 25 September to Monday, 28 September 2026
Reopens: Tuesday, 29 September 2026

Planned works have been scheduled in advance as part of our ongoing maintenance program and customers are being notified early to help plan ahead. The maintenance has also been scheduled during periods of lower attendance and when resident swimming clubs are away to help minimise disruption wherever possible.

The MARC will remain open during these maintenance periods. Only the affected pool will be temporarily unavailable.

Swim School will continue during both maintenance periods, with some lessons and squads temporarily relocated where required.

During the Outdoor 50m Pool maintenance period, customers may notice increased demand in the Indoor 25m Pool and reduced lane availability at some times due to the temporary relocation of programs.

Aqua Fitness timetable changes and class locations can be viewed via the PerfectGym Client Portal.
